Hm, if two girls kiss, but one is a girl in a girl’s body in another world, is it yuri?

Thanks 😀
Very underwhelming and overrated imo. It’s not a good yuri, as that aspect only feels forced and tacked on for the sake of the genre in this case, when it suddenly appears ou of nowhere towards the end of the show, after the two girls have only seemed like close friends the entire time before that. I love good yuri, but this ain’t it. A whole bunch of the repeated crying scenes towards the end feel kind of off as well. I love good drama and feels, but again, this ain’t it. Some of the action that is there is good, visually at least, but there is way too little of it for it to matter. The isekai aspect is even less releveant and present than the yuri aspect, barely being mentioned at the beginning and end of the show. Honestly, they could have just ditched both, and just focused on it being a regular political drama in a fantasy world, because that’s really the show’s only strength anyway. But seriously, it’s pretty damn bland. Don’t think I’ll bother reading the ongoing manga in this case.
Really? I thought this was really yuri done right – showing friendship developing into romantic feelings instead of most yuris where they just throw the girls after each other because they think they’re hot. As for the Isekai element, yes. That was much more purposeful in the novel. Essentially, all her magicology inventions were meant to replicate something from our world. They never exactly mentioned that so the isekai kinda got lost.
