So, here’s our long planned and long announced project for the summer. The show itself looks absolutely awesome. I haven’t really laughed this much since I watched school rumble last year.
However, this aired on Bandai Channel online. So, this episode has a particularly bad source. The show itself next week will be on the same station as Akikan and Hatsukoi, so that’ll be pretty. XD Please excuse the video quality for this reason.
Also, I like the ED very very much.

Fine, you get your titles with 3 u’s instead of 2 now. No, suiton, we’re not going to release a v2 or a patch of the first 3 episodes just to rename the title. Just right click and add the 3rd u yourself.
Also, this is getting frustrating. I hope they end endless eight next week, or I will rage hard. The chapter in the novel is only like 20 pages long to begin with… Sorry, kyoani, I love you and all, but you’re doing this way too much.

Kylaran said he wanted to write this blog post, but he went to sleep before he wrote it, and we finished in that time, so I’m going to assume he’d rather have us release the episode instead of waiting for him to write a blog post.
[Edit] Okay, so I just woke up. 😛 The reason I wanted to write the blog post was because I wanted to ask if anyone’s going to Anime Expo this year down in Los Angeles California. I’ll be there for all four days most likely, and I was curious if any visitors to our blog would be attending. It’s my first year going, and I heard the crowds were huge, so I thought: “Hmm… Maybe…” Anyway, enjoy Haruhi. -Ky
Anyways, can someone ask Kyoto Animation to hurry up and announce a DVD and/or Blu-Ray release schedule? I want to know what I’ll be encoding in a few months, and they’re trolling me. 🙁
Also, I’d like to add a Haruhi banner into the rotation. Please only use the females of the series, or the genderbent males (Kyonko, Itsuko, etc.) 800×250 please, and do not mix characters that have been genderbent into the same picture as those who have not. Please include the words “Chihiro Fansubs” somewhere on the banner.

Now, I don’t really know if they’ll do a season 2 of this. This episode takes place in the winter, so they only have 1 year and 3 months of the girls’ high school lives left to cover. And I sincerely doubt that a girl like Ritsu would be going to college. At least, definitely not to the same type that Mugi or Mio would. And they’d also have to drop Azunyan for about 8 weeks as well due to the age difference.
We’re not going to batch fullscreens. We will batch it in ~3 weeks when widescreens are done.
Speaking of widescreens… Our Perfect Dark is acting up. Would a raw provider be willing to download the transport streams from Perfect Dark and upload it to torrents this week?
Oh, and just to remind you, we are doing Blu-Rays of this as well.

New OP is included for SD and HD h.264. But ALSO, in the SD h.264 I included a new OP1 and ED which solves the aspect ratio issues. I have no idea how he did it, but FoxTrot managed to make a new version that still links. So, claps to him!

Checking the official website, this seems to be the events of novel 6, in case anyone is keeping track.
Personally, I haven’t watched this myself yet, so I’m downloading too. XD More thoughts after I’ve seen it.
