So, with the impending end of winter, we need more banners! I like to pretend that spring is early, since by late January I get tired of winter. So, March 1 will be the start of spring.
This banner contest will last for 20 days. In other words, you may make submissions up until February 20th. We take no responsibility for banners that are unable to be submitted by the 20th if, let’s say, our site goes down on the 19th and can’t come back up on the 21st. So, submit early.
An additional rule for this contest: Each submission post may only have ONE link. This does not mean that you cannot submit more than one banner. It means that if you’re going to, paste them up one link at a time. There is a spam filter for comments containing 2 or more links, and nowadays, we get over 100 spam comments a day. I am not going to take the time to look through every spammy comment to find the 1 or 2 non-spam ones that someone posted.
Rules of submission:
1. The banner should have the dimensions of 800X250
2. The banner should have a picture of Shindo Chihiro on it
3. The banner should have the text “Chihiro Fansubs” somewhere on it
4. The banner should be submitted it .png format
Theme is spring, so stuff like Sakura Petals, Flowers, and pastely colors are good.
So, I will betray my Aoi-chan for a week for an absolutely darling picture of Kaoru and Minamoto gazing off into the sunrise, reminiscing about the lives of their fallen comrades.
Black Phantom episode, AKA, it was absolutely insane. The animation studio probably put most of their resources into episodes like 37 on, because I don’t think there was one I haven’t liked so far. Well, 41 seemed a little stupid, but it had so many future Kaoru implications in it, it felt good.
Though we’re lacking Hyoubu-san.
Next week, we finally learn about Carrie! Yay!

Do you know why I hate BS-i? Not only does it have even worse quality than TBS, and not only is it 3 weeks late, but… well, yeah, I guess that is why I hate BS-i. In other words, the encode quality is shitty, but it’s widescreen. Don’t ask if we’re doing the DVDs when they come out because we don’t know. It’s not censored, so I see no real necessity, but if I get bored I will. Asking if we’re doing them won’t increase the chances of it.
I feel like there was some more important stuff I wanted to say here, but with my Alzheimer’s I’m always forgetting stuff. Oh well.
