Chihiro will be tentatively pick up the anime K-ON! starting in spring 2009. Description from Wikipedia: K-On!’s story revolves around four Japanese high school girls who join their school’s light music club to try to save it from being abolished. However, they are the only members of the club, and none of them have any experience playing musical instruments or reading sheet music. We are announcing this tentatively, because if the first episode is really bad or something, we won’t do it. However, this is a Kyoto animation production, and I don’t think they’ve made any genuinely BAD animes, so it’s 96% likely. And this is listed as a TBS/BS-i show, so it should be 4:3 with 16:9 releases 3 weeks later. As per usual, we’d do these. Official Website: K-ON! Also, if you see a preview for it or anything, just tell us. If we have a free moment, we could release it. If we don’t, then no big deal.

If you’ve noticed, we’ve called this series “Zettai Shogeki” and not “Zettai Shougeki”. This is not an issue of the romanization of the kanji title. There was a soundtrack released with scans with episode one, and it had the title spelled out on the front page. See for yourself. Swimsuit episode! Nah, just school swimsuits for the most part. Well, this is a pool episode, next week is a beach episode. Normally, you’d complain “Uguu~ Filler?” But, in reality, minami-ke is a 39 episode series of nothing but filler, so it fits. And that is what makes it so good. 🙂 Kana-chan better have some good Mizugi scenes next week. >.> h.264: Here XviD: Here
Fortunately we’ve found better raw material which doesn’t have previously mentioned problems with animated scenes (motions). We’re trying to use raw material from this capper for our TVS releases from now on. h264: Awesome~ XviD: I love you!~ |
