Chihiro never was too good in math. After all, the episode after Sekirei 01 is episode 03, the episode after ZKC 12 is 14, and the first episode of School Rumble is 25, not 01. So, we obviously thought that 18+1=20. Heh. Let me explain what this is. We have presently 4 people working on the ZKC translation project. The guy who was working on episode 20 was the fastest. So, we timed it, TLCed it, and it ended up being ready for release before 19. I am NOT a believer of holding back a new release for any reason, so chronological order is not a solid reason. Since this is slice of life, it shouldn’t matter, I don’t think. By that way, loli rape. h.264: Now when will they show that kaoru h-scene… XviD: Lalala
We’re going to finish this series. Be it that we release first or last every week, we’re planning on finishing it for anyone who wants to stay with the same group. This is a long status post, so I don’t want to take too much time speaking about the episode. Here’s a little bit of the rest of the week’s plans. To Love Ru should be out by 10 PM EST tomorrow barring catastrophe/TL oversleeping/Encode failing/Lithuania losing the basketball game/Penguins taking over the world. Penguin will be out on Saturday. We will be releasing at least 3 Zettai Karen Children episodes before next week (My week starts midnight Monday). One to stagnate last week, one to stagnate this week, and one to advance towards catching up. We can be releasing up to 5 before the week is out, depending on how our TLCs fair. Ikkitousen OVA will be out as soon as we can get Chinese subs for it. I don’t know how fast they sub OVAs, so I can’t say. Also, look at her eyes! They are hypnotic, aren’t they? That’s intentional. This is Kristen when she wakes up at 3 AM to start the XviD so we can release now and not 3 hours from now. One more episode to go. Again, this episode was going smoothly, but it had encoding issues. Is this the third week in a row? This time, the show ran for 24 minutes, but stopped when there were 7 minutes left in the video. So, again, XviD first. Also, there’s a new ED at the end. One more thing. Our server is exploding, so we’re going to have a bit of down time for a few days. It’ll be back soon. Also, troops, it’s time to rally! Chihiro’s test in SaiMoe is coming rapidly! So, maybe you were wondering “What is being said in the OP?” with Ikkitousen, or “Chihiro, sub the ED!” Well, we did. We released 2 karaoke files, one for the OP, one for the ED. There may be some magical way to put this into the episodes, but I really don’t know how, nor do I really care. So, a few answers before you ask. No, we are not doing this for every single series. It depends on what series we have someone to do KFx for, and which ones we are really just interested in doing. These files will be included in the batch, along with the OVA. At least, I’m assuming that it’s just a single OVA. Or, we may not be releasing a batch for 6 months? I don’t know. XP OP: ED: Thanks to all of your generosity, we have reached our goal within days for the 3rd straight month. As such, we are kind of completely funded until the end of February? As such, we’re at a saturation of money right now, so we’re going to remove the donation button until the need for funding arises again. This could happen if we decide to get a better server to be better suited for the rape, if we get a second server to provide just DDL so as to split the load, or if we continue to use this server for 3 or more months. Thank you for all of your help and support, and we will continue to try to get you fast releases! We have a full fall already planned (5 shows with 2 more possible depending on the TLs’ preferences.) Oh, and I’m going to announce this here. We are not doing Vampire Knight. It airs within hours of EF, and our preferences are at EF. We will be speeding EF, but we will be particular as to who does which job with it, so it will probably be higher quality.
Yay! Penguin Musume is back. And with new characters?! D: I hope you guys enjoy this ep. We’ll be giving our all with this, and you guys can consider it a started to the fall season. 🙂 Expect better things than last season – we’re always improving. Now then, it’s Saturday morning and we’re releasing To Love Ru. And you know what, I personally call this the faster we’ve released To Love Ru. Not time wise, no, we’ve release Thursday night. But this episode was the absolute hardest translation we’ve had to deal with. Every 2 minutes was another folktale to look up, the entire dialogue was in Edo period ancient japanese, and it was to the point where very few TLers would have been able to do this. How hard? It took our TLer 2.5 times the normal time for an episode to translate it, and he was working his butt off. So, a clap off to him. Next point: This episode has no raw. It is a transport stream. So, demuxing this and remuxing it to zero-raws really won’t work if you do that on a regular basis. HOWEVER, this video is probably the clearest we’ve had like, ever. Yes, I know about the noise on the OP and the ED, that’s from a capping error that I’ll ask the capper. But, weighing it in, the quality is too high to discard the .ts for those 3 seconds of noise.
