Just a couple of notes.
First, thanks to the surprising response to the announcement of a donation button! I guess you could say that we’re at $8 out of $100 for our goal of 4 months from now? Maybe even less depending on how much income we have had since we put that up? It will be used for a server as soon as possible, and we will get files out to you with much quicker speeds. Hopefully we can also set up an archive bot so you don’t have to look for files that have 1 seed anymore. We’ll see! ^_^
Second, as you can see, there has been no Penguin Musume for 2 weeks. This is not us stalling, this is Japan not releasing. However, this week there was a recap episode released. Do you, as fans, wish to see this subbed, or do you think you have the general idea of what’s happening? I don’t know if we have the resources to do it, because some things in it seem to be hard to do (Speaking above speaking, and I don’t know if our TLer even wants to TL a recap). Since we sub for you guys, I want to hear from you.
My vote is don’t bother. Invest your time in something more worthwhile, like fixing the post dates on these comment pages. (“Published by Kristen on Jul 20th, 2007”)
I agree, your time is money. Look at the donations for example. You guys have always been and will still be great. Translators come and go, but the group stays together. Keep up the good work.
I suggest you just put some tracker to the original JAP version of the file, just for DL for those who are faniacs XD I like to see it, and if you just link the tracker it’ll be great to mantain the sequence, if not, don’t worry, I’ll search for it on some of the tracker pages I usually do. Thanks for the info anyway.
I wouldn’t bother with a recap episode. If someone has forgotten what happened in a previous ep they can just go back and watch it.

besides as spanish translator of penguin xD well that is not the point
for me, in real, if you guys think is an unnecesary work and need that time to do other important things then dont do it, its just a recopilatory, and i think story is very simple, besides the real problem stars at ep 8 or alike xD
conclusion: if dont want dont bother in it ;D i will wait more time for the next episodes :3
btw, as note, i must thank you guys for TL penguin, again, i use your work to be able of translating penguin at spanish and i love your work :3

my advice (not that you really care for it :P) is do whatever ya please… unless yer being rude wich is quite the contrary with this post i don’t mind a bit 🙂 you do have a life besides subbing right? ^^;

and yeah… we should all flame the broadcaster/producer of PM lol still got no idea what that show’s about (in winter they’d have to put up “penguin crossing” signs on the side of roads around here at times.. ya know how cold -78C is?) anywho.. might not be my boat but it’s something ya do and i thank ya for it… i’ll just stop typin now… all that cake made me hyper even if it’s midnight rofl

Subbing it is totally optional. With all the episodes released up to now serving as an archive, a recap episode isn’t really needed.
A recap episode for a show that runs for at most 15 minutes per episode? what the hell for?

For completion sake I’d like to have it. But with your current load of work if you chose not to that would be fine. Although a link to the RAW would be nice.

Don’t bother subbing it. Unless there is new content hidden inside it. I skip all recap episodes (thank you AniDb!) in all anime because it is a waste of time! Just skip this episode, and work on something else!
It’s up to you if you do it or not, but I wouldn’t mind doing it, I mean half of it is already from the previous ep, and the other have is as well. Well maybe it’s also because my love for PMH is just undescriable especially the various Openings they’ve came up with and my love for Pengi. Ahhhh, Pengi <3 <3 <3 <3!

keep the raw until the end of the series then when you have a spare hour use the old epps to sub the majority of the recap epp and then release batch
