As in, the a 1080p version isn’t in existance so the company upscales 720 version and sells it as 1080p. And to be honest, I doubt a ‘true’ 720p version exists, just like how naruto and other shows are just upscaled 720p.
Naruto is upscaled 480p. Most other TV now is really 720p.

@qwerty In other words, it wasn’t drawn at a 1080p resolution. The 1080p output of the blu-ray will be an upscale of the lower resolution source drawing/animation. So the 1080p will look the same as the 720p when expanded (more or less)
You using ordered chapters? If so, why not for ED?
Is there any worth in keeping the TV episodes if I get these?

hmm thanks for the explanation… one more thing well i dont know how the whole enconing stuff works but is it normal for the size to be so small… i mean even if it is a 720p it’s a blu ray rip after all… just asking

Action scenes take a lot of bitrate which causes the filesizes to be bigger. The reason these are so small (relatively speaking) is there aren’t a lot of high speed/fighting/action scenes to bump up the file size.
I dunno…I think Haqua is waaay more cute.
As Keikun6969 has already stated, there seems to be a chunk of the end of episode 1 missing. Other than that, thanks for the Blu-Ray rips. ^^

I was wondering why the OP isn’t actually in the video. I know you use ordered chapters and I have the OP in the same folder as the episodes, but it’s not playing when it should during the episode.
Please, don’t use FLAC audio on 720p BD releases anymore.
All 720p BD FLAC animes I’ve watched have lagging or A/V out of sync of both issues.
I am fairly convinced that this is not entirely a hardware issue because I’ve watched Chihiro&Doki – Motto To-LoverU 720p BD ACC and it ran smoothly. Thanks in advance.
@anonymous – I think that’s due to FFDShow and FLAC w/ ordered chapters. If you don’t use the FLAC decoder of media player classic then you’ll get sync issue when transitioning into and out of the OP/ED files. Although the sync can be reversed by simply seeking to any part of the video (which I do to be able to use SPDIF with FLAC)
Hopefully we’ll have a v2 of episode 1, since it cuts off to the previews before the credits ended. Haven’t checked epi 2 yet though.
