I’m afraid that our glorious loli leader has neglected to inform those of you who may be interested of what this “editing” is comprised of.

Basically, as an editor, your job will be:

1. Take translated and timed scripts and edit them in aegisub for grammar, flow, and syntax.
2. Conduct some localization of the script to the standards decided upon by the group. This tends to vary by series.
3. Ensure that everything makes sense, and ask a TL/TLC for clarification when something doesn’t make sense.
4. Spot check timing and text positioning.
