So, I will betray my Aoi-chan for a week for an absolutely darling picture of Kaoru and Minamoto gazing off into the sunrise, reminiscing about the lives of their fallen comrades.
Black Phantom episode, AKA, it was absolutely insane. The animation studio probably put most of their resources into episodes like 37 on, because I don’t think there was one I haven’t liked so far. Well, 41 seemed a little stupid, but it had so many future Kaoru implications in it, it felt good.
Though we’re lacking Hyoubu-san.
Next week, we finally learn about Carrie! Yay!

Do you know why I hate BS-i? Not only does it have even worse quality than TBS, and not only is it 3 weeks late, but… well, yeah, I guess that is why I hate BS-i. In other words, the encode quality is shitty, but it’s widescreen. Don’t ask if we’re doing the DVDs when they come out because we don’t know. It’s not censored, so I see no real necessity, but if I get bored I will. Asking if we’re doing them won’t increase the chances of it.
I feel like there was some more important stuff I wanted to say here, but with my Alzheimer’s I’m always forgetting stuff. Oh well.

Apparently we forgot to make a blogpost earlier and thus here are the links to both episodes. Raw quality was not as good as expected, the motions didn’t turn out that well – sorry about that.

Kana says “Did you know? One out of every five thousand North Atlantic Lobsters are born bright blue!”
Double pic post, because it has to be…

So, while the rest of the family is talking, Chiaki is looking at deadly murder weapons, scheming with her teddy bear? Am I the only one who finds this disturbing?

OK, now, you should know by now that Aoi-chan is my favorite loli. But I can’t believe it! She’s an archer too! That is serious <3! I’ve had an archer fetish all my life, and now Aoi-chan is just… Oh, why can’t you be real! I’ll adopt you!
Also, couple of notes for this episode. First, yes, the ED karaoke is slightly different than what was released last week. Second, we’ve realized that 230 MB is too little for this show, so we’ll be doing 330+ MB releases from now on for this, since it honestly needs it. XviD will remain 170
Enjoy!
Also, a .ts popped up for episode 42 on Perfect Dark, so we’ll be working off that. Kind sir, please continue! DmonHiro thanks you too!

OK, I’m going to be honest. I knew Quartet DVD 2 was going to be released soon and stuff. I was going to work on some other side projects I’m doing and then get to it when I had a spare moment, maybe a release sometime in early-mid February. But, cappers absolutely amazed me. Honest, I said “I will only do this from DVDISOs” like 2 days ago. Within THIRTEEN HOURS somebody had put a .iso onto torrents. Coincidence? No. Because there were hardly any RAWs on tosho for DVD1, much less ISOs. And it’s not like it’s a particularly popular series to begin with. Within an hour of the .iso, I had a memo from memoserv pointing me to it. Now, Share isn’t the fastest thing to begin with, so for 13 hours to an ISO release, it means that the person who released it probably started DLing the instant it appeared. I was so impressed by this that I just set this as top priority and did it. Thank you for your efforts at getting me the raw. :p Although I will say, I ended up getting it from Share, since I can DL at 1.5 MB/s off Share, 500 kb/s off torrents. Though I only have the option of torrents starting with DVD 5 anyways.
