So, I decided to skip an ecchi shot this week for a moe one. If you want an ecchi craze, here.

We start widescreens next week, so if there’s anything with episode 01 that you thought was wrong, please speak up so we can fix it. We know about that->than.
We also would like to use the official lyrics for the entire set of WS releases, so hopefully some group will release the single with scans by Thursday. I have yet to see any, even though it came out in Japan last week.

Here’s a little sample of a difference for you.
Simply, I got bored and encoded a DVD for Quartet. There are some extreme differences between the TV broadcast on BS-i and the DVD. As you can tell, the colors are a lot better, and the image is sharper. Something you may NOT notice is mainly on the OP/ED/Eyecatches. On the BS-i raws, there were lots of rainbowing, dotcrawl, etc, which needed to be corrected and still looked weird. In here, there is nothing of the case, and it just looked beautiful.
Please note that I don’t know if/how long we’ll do this. It is off a DVDISO I found on share, and if we continue this past DVD 1, we WILL NOT encode off of anything but a DVDISO. This release is for the highest video quality possible, so we will NOT accept anything other than the highest quality. For now, please act like we will not continue doing DVD releases for Quartet.
That also means no XviD. Before you whine, think of this. XviD is a bad codec. At the same bitrate and same resolution, it creates a ton of blocks. Heck, that’s why some 704×400 h.264s can be at 120 MB, and the XviDs are at 170. There is no additional content in here, so it’s would be counter productive to create a lower quality release for comparability when you already have the TV WS for comparability. If you want higher quality, you wouldn’t be DLing XviD to begin with.
Encode is 720×480 anamorphic. Last thing – This is NOT what the DVD releases donation drive was for.

This show has been quite a fight to get out. It’s pretty hard. But, hopefully we aren’t ones to disappoint. Here’s episode 3, where the character I’ve wanted to see the entire show finally appears.
Again, a new ED. I think that’s going to be a theme throughout this show, so whatever. XD

Look! It’s Karen’s Children! If anyone needs the reference, they’re the lolis that ZKC hired to dance to the OP/ED and sing it. I think they sing it? Not sure. It may just be the lolis themselves that sing it and these girls act it.
New ED this week. The episode went into encoding before we made a karaoke for the ED, so the ED here is just timed/styled. But we did make a karaoke afterwards, and since Kristen can’t wait a week to release it, we are as a separate file. We will not release an XviD ED4, because you’ll be seeing it next week anyways, XviD fans. >.>
And again, we are not a week behind. This aired on Saturday the 10th. The one that aired on the 3rd was 39.5, a recap, and we will not be doing that.
