If you want to know the truth, I’m really getting agitated right now. We do 7 shows. We’ve released 10 episodes in the past 7 days, or 200 minutes of dialogue (250 of anime), AKA over 4 hours of anime, with 6 XviDs and 9 h.264s.
And yet I’m still getting people asking me “Will you pick up this show? Nobody is subbing it?” “Did you drop the XviDs?” “Are you still doing the TLR Widescreens?”
Stop being so demanding. We’re doing this for free, in case you didn’t realize, and most other groups would have probably dropped some projects if they fell behind or stalled them for like 5 weeks. We’re making every effort to get everything caught up by mid next week, so give us some slack.
Rosario will be out tonight. Don’t ask.

Q: There are at least 5 groups on this series! Why are you picking it up?
A: We had a translator who was going to translate it whether we wanted to sub it or not. And hey, given a free translation, why not?
Q: Why is episode 2 before episode 1?
A: Episode 2 was finished before episode 1, since we were working on 1 and 2 in parallel. We do not hold releases for chronological order, so this is first.
Q: You have seven shows? Isn’t this too much?
A: If you didn’t know, our staff is getting to be very big. Unlike in June when we were in danger of burning out because like 4 people were working on all 7 shows, we have lots of staff working on our shows now.
Q: Where is my (Insert Show here)?
A: We haven’t forgotten about other shows. It’ll be out once we’re done. We had a lot of issues with catching up this week.
Q: Why is this 4:3? Will you sub the WS versions?
A: It’s 4:3 because that’s how it airs, and it’s part of the reason why I’m interested in it. WS versions, I don’t know.
Q: Will you pick up [Insert Show Here]?
A: No.

We’re done with episode 02! As with episode 01, this is a full sub. Whether you call it a “quality sub” or a “slow sub” is up to you, but we did everything expected. Full typeset, Edit, QC, OP, ED, etc. It’s all in here.
704X400 releases only, because 1280X720 proved last week to be a really bad idea.

Isn’t it nice? We only have 1 episode of this series to do. 1-5 and 8-9 DVD versions won’t be done until TLR WSs are finished. And we’re going to start working on the last TLR WSs starting after RV2 is encoded.
I have to say, though, this series mentioned everyone’s names too much. You can just say “everyone”, and we’ll get the point. <.< Well, one more episode, which may be out tomorrow if we get lucky. Friday if we don’t.

Sorry about the delays with this. It’s all part of our “catch up” plan this week, I’m sure. I mean, right now we have Kono Aozora 12+13, ZKC 28, and ef 02 left on our catch up list. We’re getting there. ^_^
720p release only for h.264. This will probably be from now on, since there is no real need to release a 704X400 version earlier, since raws seemed to be relatively fast.

Just to answer some questions now. First, this is an outside project. We’ll do it when someone at some position is available and doesn’t have anything else to do. Second, this is encoded in XviD first for this episode because our encoder’s Megui is acting up. Third, I doubt there’ll ever be a subbed OP or ED on this, but you never know.

11 done, 2 to go. By the way, 12 is already translated and will be out tomorrow with any luck. By luck, I mean not something like this episode. Our encoder went through a heck of a lot of struggle to get the ED overlay to work, so claps to him.
Tonight we should be releasing Kyou no Go no Ni as soon as it’s done and styled. We’ll also be releasing our secret project when it finishes encoding.
