So, as much as I like our banner, it’s been about 6 months already. With the incoming new season, we should have a new banner to sprice things up around here. Is sprice even a word? O.o
So, we’ll hold a banner contest. You, the artist, can design a new banner for Chihiro! Isn’t that fun? It must conform to the following specifications:
1. The banner should have the dimensions of 800X250
2. The banner should have a picture of Shindo Chihiro on it
3. The banner should have the text “Chihiro Fansubs” somewhere on it
4. The banner should be submitted it .png format
Other than that, it’s up to you what you want to do! I’d prefer like a winter themed one, but I’m not going to be picky.
Best banner wins assuming that there is one that we like!
Oh yeah, deadline to submit is September 30th.

This looks like the last episode of the show. I don’t know if they’re going to go back and do episodes 01-24, but it looks unlikely.

So, I guess we need a little explanation as to what this show is and stuff. This show aired in late 2007, and really nobody subbed it. There was one group that got up to episode 04, but that’s it.
So, Chihiro likes doing stalled series, and this is one of them. We may be doing one show a week and pretend like it’s airing now, or we may just do it rapid pace. Need to figure it out.
Here’s a few things about this show:

2. We’re not giving out 1280X720 h.264’s. I could not find a 1280X720 raw, so we won’t do it.
3. OP/ED will be subbed eventually.

XviD: Double Yay!
So, if you need to know why this was so late, think about AIG. Our translator works there, so he’s in like double triple overtime or something. He will probably be unable to finish the series, so another TLer will be working on it from this point on. This also should mean Tuesday releases if everything goes well. I cannot say if we’ll release first or not, but we’ll deal with whatever is thrown at us.
I think for ZKC for the rest of the season, I’d like to look at Monday releases. It will probably become Sunday releases once the fall season begins.
And that World Salvation Committee girl is a bitch.

Little faster this time? Next week we’ll try for Saturday again. I had a TL on Saturday morning, but was AFK all day to a football game.
Is it just me, or is Penguin just getting more and more ecchi? Like, after episode 4 with nene eating out etorofu-san, it seemed to mellow out a bit, but now it’s gotten extremely ecchi.

XviD: You should know by now we don’t do XviDs for Penguin.
If you think this site is being slow, try asking the girl who had to spend 5 minutes just to get into this post and upload the picture. These pictures range from 200-800 kb each, you know, since they are .png compression.
Speaking of pictures, I had a folder of 6 pictures, trying to decide which one to use. I decided the moe Haruna was better than the excited one or the group shot with Rito one, etc. Overall, I had 6 options, and chose this one. Because no words can express my love for Haruna-chan. I really hope Rito chooses Lala so I can have Haruna-chan all to myself!
But I can’t believe it’s episode 25! 1 more episode left! I’m kind of sad. To Love Ru has been with us since like the very beginning, and now it’s going to end. 25 episodes subbed in 20 weeks, with 21 WS versions, 2 files for each, so 91 files for TLR so far. It’ll eventually be 104.
Another thing: Our encoder for TLR is out of town for a few days. As such, we cannot release XviD for a few days. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

First off, I’m not sure why the website is being slow. We’re working on it.
Second, we finally finished the episode! Oddly enough, this had nothing to do with the csubs being released today. We just happened to have a J->E TLer finish today. Either way, enjoy your Cha Chi
Third, as always, there will be no XviD on this release, since Penguin airs in h.264 to begin with.
Fourth, Sakura should be back online later today, hopefully with To Love Ru 25. TLR 25 is moving along smoothly and should be releasable tonight.
Fifth, World Destruction is NOT dropped, thank you to whoever thought that. Our translator is in a financial stock company and has had to work super-triple overtime. We’ve decided to resort to plan B.
h.264: Cha Chi Dachi~
We caught up! Well, sort of. It is now possible for any person to see the anime from episode 01 to the present, although you’d need to group hop. I guess our next challenge is to get episodes 2-11 and 13 finished. I guess 13 will be the first one in the loop, since we SHOULD still have a translation for that. But these are going to be at a more relaxed pace. In other words, we’re trying to finish them by the end of the show, not as soon as possible. Basically, if we have a TLer free, they’ll work on it.
I don’t know what day to tell you to expect ZKC from now on, because we’ve never had to wait for CSubs or 720p raws before. But we shouldn’t fall an episode behind, like, ever.
By the way, this was encoded by a new encoder to the group (wishes to remain anonymous), so tell me how he did. Also, how is the new font?
To Love Ru is aiming to be released tomorrow night. And Penguin may actually be moving. ^_^
