Apologies for the delay. The translator who was supposed to do it had his computer die on him the first day he could TL it, so we were left without a TLer. We’re trying to get this done soon, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be done until tomorrow morning Eastern Standard Time.
We’re putting up a status thread because we’ve delayed too long to not.
In other news, thank you to all of the donators this month! We hit our goal this morning, so we’re set for the month! A server is on the way, just waiting on PayPal to process. Also, World Destruction is moving along smoothly and should be out tomorrow as well, with any luck.

Yay, I’m finally back! Looks like the site is here, so that’s always a good sign.
I guess at this point, we should probably take you our of the dark on a few things, and also look for some feedback from you. Over the past season, we’ve been doing some experiments with things. We tried quality, but that was a failure. We tried TLC, and that has actually worked very well. We tried muxing on servers, and that also worked really well. We’ve also tried working with multiple translators, and I have to say, I think we are all much less stressed with that.
So, I guess I should announce our plans. Right now, we’re working on the projects that we’ve released, and will continue to so long as we have the staff to do so, until the end of the season. That is World Destruction, Sekirei, To Love Ru, Penguin Musume, and Ikkitousen.
For the fall, our plans right now are EF, and Vampire Knight. We may be looking with a joint with ASF on something else too.
But, anyways, now that we’ve answered a few of your questions, I’d like for you to answer a few of ours. Namely, what are your thoughts on Chihiro? Are we a benefit to you, or a detriment?
Some possible things we’re looking at and would like your opinion on are:
1. OP/ED. Presently, we don’t add kara to them, and I doubt we ever will. However, would you be interested in a 90s style sub, where we sub it just like normal lines? Or would you rather have a clean OP/ED?
2. QC. We are NEVER adding QC to our speedsubs. However, there is a step called “Fining” which is checking over the episode before releasing to ensure that there are no major mess ups. Delays us 30 minutes to an hour, usually, but we’ll stop having to do things like the Sekirei v2s. Would you like to add in Fining, or no?
3. Anything else?

Okay, so here’s the long awaited World Destruction 05! I had to fill in for our usual translator on this project, but I couldn’t translate the episode until two days after it came out in Japan. I had a trip planned to Hong Kong on Tuesday, and I couldn’t change the date since my visa into China is about to expire. 🙂 That’s the reason why this is so late. Hard to fit an ep into a busy schedule once the scheduling is off.
The the two images above are for the World Destruction game out on DS in September. I’m interested in playing it (Japanese only), since Kyrie looks so much more badass. The first image says: “If you just wait, nothing will happen. In your hands, the world can change. RPG World Destruction.” The second is a sample of the cover art.

So… I’ll confess. Once the TL was finished for this ep of Seki, I went out to practice drumming for an hour, then went to dinner and watched the entire Men’s soccer match between China and New Zealand (being in China, drinking beer, and cheering for my home country’s team is a pretty awesome experience, even though my home is in the U.S.). So, we happened to be just a *tad* bit late on this. For that, I apologize.
This ep is definitely my favorite so far. Tsukiumi is so tsun tsun dere dere she makes my loins quiver in need for her. She also has a pretty sexy way of talking. <3 Archaic language.
I hope Kristen won’t eat me alive for my graphic language. But you guys know her. She’s a beast in bed. >.>;

Yay! They’re finally done for everyone’s viewing pleasure!
As one of the main people involved with Sekirei, I take full responsibility for the significant number of issues with Sekirei. For both of these episodes, we were sorting out some internal problems (mostly growing pains from picking up new shows), and I ended up deciding that Sekirei needed to be out as fast as possible, I used some recruits to get the job done. For Seki 04, the encoder didn’t have the Karaoke, and he was fairly new. For Seki 05, the timer didn’t separate the lines properly, so some of the TLs got turned into captions in the “Actor” column in Aegisub (I used colons in the translation text, which, when entered into Aegisub, are subsequently not considered a sub and are automatically placed elsewhere.).
Sorry for the long wait. I’m hoping you guys will bear with as we sort things out on our end. We added the rap portion of the ED, which was previously impossible for me to hear at all. 🙁
Also, the DDLs that we once had going on the website are unavailable at the moment. Why? Well, let’s just say that hosting companies are lame. So I’m just going to say that when Kristen gets back, these things will be sorted out. Again, I apologize for the inconveniences.
Finally, just as a little notice, Penguin Musume Heart is going through a “Festival” phase that has so far consisted of a recap, a MAD, and today’s DVD box release advertisement. According to today’s video, this period will continue until the end of August, and, once it’s over, I suspect that Penguin Musume Heart part 2 will begin (Yes, it’s in the making. And yes, there will be new characters.) Okay, so…! Kristen’s going to be taking a little break from it all, and in her stead, someone must blog for her! 🙂 This will be my first of many posts. Yoroshiku~ everyone!
A little explanation of how TLR18 first release went wrong. The RAW for the release skipped a scene, and so the timings were completely off because they were timed to a different version of the show than what we encoded and muxed to. We apologize for the set back, so here’s your version two!
Sekirei is being done as we speak. Just give it a bit, and we’ll be sure to get it done. I know it’s tough on you guys to have to wait for V2s, but we have to work on things on our end as well. Sorry! Also, we’re hoping that Penguin Musume Heart Part 2 will begin soon (ep 12), since that show’s pretty awesome!
Currently, Chihiro is looking for recruits that have had previous experience working with other groups. We’d love it if anyone interested would stop by and contact us.

Told you it’d be out today. The issue with Ikkitousen is that it’s taking forever for raws to appear. I’m supposing because it’s AT-X (Satellite only), cappers are more afraid of releasing it than with TBS and MBS. I mean, when the cappers were arrested, it was for capping satellite stations, not for TBS and stuff.
I don’t think we have any more releases planned for today. We may, but I don’t know. Either way, I’ll probably not be online to see them. :p
Since this show started early, and apparently is only 12 episodes, that means only 4 weeks of Ikki left! T_T
Also, it’s a new month now, so we reset the donation meter. I miscalculated, so our server funds are basically what you see there (Once p2c resets it). Should be finishing this maintenance soon.
