Absolutely definitely not! This series was quite fun to do. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did – even if the last 2 episodes were kinda blah. I have BDs on order so we’ll be doing them, but it’ll either be released as episodes 1-8 in late April and batched in late May/early June, or just all at once in late May/early June. If you have fixes I need to make, please let me know!
Project 3/13 of the Blu-ray Backlog, and the 2nd oldest (I believe. Keep in mind this list goes back to 2014, not before). I’m Team Fianna since she’s literally the only non-tsundere in the show. Specials included!
Baka! Project 2/13 of the BD backlog. Next one should hopefully take about a week to do. We also are officially scratching the “Ecchihiro” moniker. Any Ecchihiro shows released/repackaged will be under “Chihiro.” There wasn’t really much a difference between the two outside of the types of shows subbed and the name anyways.
A catgirl maid is nice too. Props where props are due – the CR script this week was exceptionally good. Just as a side note – we’re not planning on announcing which projects we’re doing next season ahead of time. We’re going to watch the first episodes and decide what is the best ratio of enjoyment to effort. We are considering Yuusha Yamemasu, Virgin Road, Shikimori-san, and Kunoichi Tsubaki as our staff faves, but anything’s on the table really. We’ll do 1, maybe 2 shows next season depending on certain factors.
Hello! So from October 2013 until I came back in November 2020, there were 15 series I know of which were completed but did not receive BD batches. I will be taking on all of them except Prison School (No interest) and NGNL (DDY’s responsibility). About OVAs: I am not going to stall any series for OVAs. That doesn’t mean we’re not doing them, just that they aren’t ready yet. Better to release the series without than never release with. These OVAs are far from complete – I will not be leading them either. There were a few changes from the original BDs – most notably using Erundil’s karaoke which was closer to the TV release, fixing a few font and padding issues, and muxing in the “ENG” track as default. If you liked the original BD kara, it’s included on the alternate track of the NCs. All encodes are from JPSDR. Each episode has 2 subtitle tracks (Episodes 1 and 7 the tracks make no difference): PS – While I didn’t enjoy this series (ecchi’s never been my thing), Doppel was my favorite character, with Mero being my favorite main character. |
