So, I spent all night encoding this. I really hate it when the lossless runs at 11 fps, and a dual core computer won’t let you encode an h.264 and a timeraw at the same time. Ah well.
Nevertheless, this is worth it. I think this is my best 720p release, as I managed to find the EXACT shifting count for the times. Hence, there should be no bleeding at all. There’s also a couple of edits in here, so you can almost call it a V2.
Also, another random thing. On Veoh, search for Da Capo II Second Season 01. I was surprised to see our sub listed before ASF’s. Well, guess we really are the group releasing this. XD
And I saw a blog ask why we do so many releases. We release 396p so that we can get it to the viewers as fast as possible, since 720 doesn’t come out for a few more days. 720p h.264 is for quality lovers. XviD is for TV watchers.

So, today is May 20th. 1 month ago, on April 20th, we release Code Geass R2 episode 03. It went fairly unnoticed since we didn’t know how to properly release a torrent, and we only beat out the next fastest subbing group by approximately 30 minutes (For the torrent, at least. We were faster by 2 hours for the .ass release).
So, in that time, we have released 22 episodes, and numerous releases inside each torrent. We’ve released Geass 03 – 07, with 2 releases for episodes 4-7 (Usually h.264 and XviD, h.264 and h.264 HQ for 7). So, 9 releases overall for Geass. For Penguin Musume, we have subbed 5 episodes. Only 1 release each. For TLR, we’ve subbed 3 episodes, with a h.264 and XviD for each, so that is 6 releases. For DCIISS, we’ve subbed 7 episodes, with 2 720p releases for each, an rmvb for 6, and h.264 396p’s for 4-7. So, 17 DCIISS releases. And, we subbed Koharu Biyori, releasing 2 episodes in 2 releases each, so 4 releases there.
In other words, we have subbed 22 episodes, and have released 41 times in the past 30 days. Do the math, and that means we’ve done a lot.
And we’re not burning out. If anything, we’re accelerating after being granted the freedom of the summer, and some new staff. We can and will release even more episodes this upcoming month if a second TL joins us. Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, the language doesn’t matter. So long as that translator can give us an accurate episode in a quick amount of time after air time, we’ll release it for you.
Would the eyepatch girl be proud of us? I think so. And then she’d forget that we existed.

So, I FINALLY figured out how to encode that 720p DCIISS. I just need to run through and quickly fine it, then it’s mux and release. It shouldn’t take more than 2 hours. XviD shortly after that. That’s assuming that my parents don’t force me to do more stupid things like dust the house, vacuum, etc.

So, without any further delays, he’s DCIISS06. If you want a list of all the reasons it was delayed, that’s fine with me. First, raws were hard to come by this week. Second, we only could’ve started when Geass was in the works, and we didn’t want to do that. Third, AP exams. Fourth, our backup TL didn’t keep to his word on getting it out in a day. Fifth, homework from AP exams. Sixth, I have a job. Seventh, our TL didn’t keep his word on finishing it in TWO days. Eighth, headaches from bad audio.
So, we have excuses. XD
Also, I’m personally rebelling against DCIISS because Yume didn’t break her leg last episode and go on crutches for the rest of the season because I have a helpless girl moe fetish. Particularly one for girls with broken legs.

Edit 2: Well, you see… People are complaining how they “cannot” play these high quality h264 files… But you also see… we really like our releases to be QUALITY… So yeah, Real Media is the shit. All those people with failure hardware support can play it with absolutely NO problem ^_^. FUCK YEAH!
