So, I don’t know why there isn’t an announcement yet about this, nor do I really understand why that subtitle showed up on the screencap… But, we released 720p for your viewing pleasure. Before you comment about the timing, YES, I know that the timing is sort of off. I have no idea why, but it seemed like all lines started exactly where the should (140 ms before the first sound out of anyone’s mouth), and then ended 213 ms too late. In other words, I’m probably going to have to re-time this for the batch. Also, I accidentally attached the fonts twice, so this file is a little big. Sorry! ^_^’ Oh, and just a little rant from Kristen… Firefox really has it made. Not only does it pay for ads to spread it, but it has other people advertising it. Like, forum signatures that say “For the best internet experience, use firefox!” Now, I’ve used I.E. on my laptop, and I need to use Firefox on my desktop since my sister murdered I.E. on that computer. And, I really don’t see a difference, so I plan to keep on using I.E., since I’ve always used it. It’s a personal preference. And if sites want to tell me to upgrade to read better, fine. BUT, don’t freaking lock me out of the site. Please stop using Internet Explorer! ;)” with no way to access the site. Let me tell you, telling me to switch my browser to view your site is NOT going to make me wish to switch. It’s going to make me stop visiting your site. So, I’ll take their approach. Chihiro will ONLY allow women to access their subtitles, as women are obviously the superior race. Sure, you may prefer to have a penis, but we will only allow women. I have a lot of things I could say in this article… But, I’ll try to be as short and to the point as possible. First, DCIISS is darker than I ever imagined… 17+ of season 1 isn’t close. Second, this episode could’ve been 30 minutes to an hour earlier, but I had to quit an old (dead) subbing group, and the group leader got butthurt. Third, there will not be an XviD of this release. This is 576p, so I’m going to hold out for a 720p before encoding XviD. If one’s not out by the end of this week, I encode this to XviD. Fourth, again, new filter chain. Tell me what you think. Fifth, I talked to a capper about releasing this earlier. We may have a Saturday or Sunday release for you next week if it works out. ^_^

So, this was another episode because we felt like it. Also, helpless moe! <3 DCIISS09 should be hopefully completely TLed right now. Problem is that we don’t have raws. We may have a more reliable raw system very shortly for DCIISS, hopefully. I’ll show you the niconico version we could have released tomorrow, once we have scripts and an actual release. Anyways, this episode was done differently than a usual Chihiro release. AKA, different filters to encode with, and a different TL. There are many reasons why I love Penguin. Cha Chi, the fun 16:9 in 4:3, easy to access raws, easy timing, fast TL, fun comedy, great characters, penguins… This show has everything. Nene finally gets some screen time too. And it finally has a serious OP, and it’s one of the better ones I’ve found. As always, no XviD. h.264: Here
Ok, here’s your weekly fix of TLR. Kristen is bawwwwing because there’s no Haruna in this episode, except for like 2 secs worth of moe moments at the end of this episode. Clarification How fucking hard is it to understand that we’re not quality subs, but rather QUALITY/speedsubs/shitsubs (I MEAN LOL, WE GET RATED ON THE SAME LEVEL AS SHITNSEN-SUBS. AHAHAHAHA. wait, what?). No, seriously, how fucking hard is it to understand? I mean it, how fucking hard is it? It takes us an average of 2-4 hours of work per episode, no real “encodes,” sometimes we get really lazy and skip editing (wait, what editing?) and thoroughly checking our releases. So uh, our process is really – TL > Time > EDIT > Mux & Release. Proven from : Geass in general, especially the 500mb Geass 7(hi. eleven ads), Macross Frontier 09 (FUCK YEAH, MASSIVE BLEEDS AND GENDER CONFUSION!(well, we’re ‘training’ a new timer, so uh… mistakes are expected.)) So uh, all those “thank you for your hard work” is really bullshit. HI GUISE, NO HARD WORK IS INTENDED OR EVER PUT IN. We don’t need you to thank us, but if you really want to… uh, idk. We’re not doing this to get the praise(meaning I don’t come when someone says “LOL UR DA BEST”), but rather for the lulz (me, at least). tl;dr Believe it or not, we suck.
