Well, I’m not going to hide it anymore. We are working on Zero no Tsukaima. This is kind of an experiment for us in that it’s our first real quality release, when it’s ready. Our goal is to never fall a week behind. But, you can expect high quality releases. After all, we’re jointing with Anime-Share fansubs. They will not allow for bad quality to be released. And, as you will probably see, we’re almost done with episode 1, which is the hardest in a quality release. ALL STEPS DONE. ALL CONDITIONS CLEARED. ETA is 10 PM for upload to finish.
That’s right. Here at Chihiro, we fully support Haruna-chan. First post-Jaka release. Lost a few pounds today trying to see that this worked out, but it did! Yay! 🙂 Also, I have no idea why, but the XviD encode seemed REALLY clear to me. So, here you go. Both releases within like 10 minutes of each other. ^_^ h.264: Haruna-chan XviD: is sexy
So, since we’re late on this, we’ll go with a status post. Most likely, we’re going to be keeping To Love Ru, Penguin Musume, and Sekirei, and dropping everything else. However, there are some new applicants for translation, so we may be picking up additional shows if they work out. There was no Penguin Musume this week, so To Love Ru is our top priority. Status: Translation – Done Editing – Done Timing – Done Muxing Estimated Time of Release: 7:30 PM EST for h.264, 8:00 PM for XviD. Okay, dudes. We’re pretty in a hurry. I know none of you knows me, I’m just the Code Geass timer. Anyway, I’ll be fast fast fast: [Jaka], the main Chihiro’s translator, quit us because an unknown reason. So, we’re pretty stalled during this week, since Chrissie is traveling (she’ll back by Sunday, I guess) and the other translators are out, too. So, anyway, we still want to release Code Geass R2 for the sake of speed of fun. If you are a: Japanese -> English Translator that is able to translate a full entire episode in 6 hours or a Chinese -> English Translator that is able to translate a full (~450 lines) episode through Chinese subs in about 2 or 3 hours, please contact me (Raijenki) at the Chihiro’s irc channel: #Chihiro @ irc.rizon.net. We have like 5 hours until Geass airs on Japan (it airs at 5pm JST, or gmt +9). Just leave me a PM with our details (Japanese tler? Chinese tler? whatever) and idle in our channel, we’ll contact you ASAP. If no translator appears, no Geass this week. I’ll be waiting for someone. Have a nice day (or night, in my GMT). Edit: By the way, Sekirei v2 will be out when we get our official encoder back. Maybe we can release a 1080p version with the SD one. Now I’ll go sleep, I hope someone appears. Today, our translator dropped Ikkitousen. This is bad news for all of us, I know, but it happens. I wish we could’ve announced that we were dropping it with “this release”, but I literally found this out 2 hours ago. However, I do understand that some people are following us for our release, and to keep in consistency with episodes 1-3 from us. As such, we are not going to be dropping the project. We will, until someone joins us who wishes to translate Ikkitousen, use the yesy scripts to release. In other words, Ikkitousen has become a joint. I will go through and edit the scripts to be consistent with our previous releases, time them, encode them, etc. However, expect these releases to be delayed by approximately 1 day (I intend to release on Thursday instead of Wednesday due to reliance on yesy scripts). Also, we most likely will not be the first group to release Ikkitousen this week, because I am going on vacation until Sunday. You can also expect episode 9 to be delayed for another vacation (That will probably be a double release with 10). Other than that, expect it either at 9 PM EST on the day that Yesy releases, or the time Yesy releases plus 2 hours (If they release between 5 and 10 PM EST).
