After some discussion, thought, flaming, eating, aquarium visits, and panty shots, we have decided that the Ayako-Chihiro joint for Sekirei will be called off. Chihiro will still be releasing Sekirei, but it will be on its own this time, not with Ayako.
There was only 1 person in our group who wanted a joint, [Jaka], and he wasn’t even the translator assigned to it. We needed help week 1, though, so he had the grounds of “Make a joint or I TL with Ayako and you guys are on your own”. But, he ragequit anyways, so no need to worry about that.
I’ll give you a timetable of when to expect all of our Sekirei stuff soon.

Sorry about the massive delays. I was hoping to get this out like 3 or 4 days ago, but more and more things piled on, and we had to switch encoders, and deal with better raws, and needed lots of TLC/QC, and basically tons of stuff that comes from the first week. We basically had no organization this week due to the first week crisis stuff, but it should be better now. I think we all know what to do and when, so expect episode 2 out much earlier than this was.
Also of note, ASF is a really fun group to work with. <3
Also, although you probably don’t care, XviD is encoded at 704X400, not 704X396, so it’s a bit different than what Chihiro usually releases. h.264 is 1280X720.
Also, for those who are saying we copied Minori-Osu’s TL, I’ll inform you that we had a TL of this before they released. So, unless someone magically knew exactly what Jaka was thinking with Minori, it’s not going to be their TL.

We’re done! Well, almost. Still have batches to do. XviD batch should be coming shortly. We need to wait for 1 thing extra before we release the h.264 batch, so I’d expect that in a few days.
By the way, a ton of thanks to Anime Share Fansub for the kara these past two episodes. <3 you guys.
Another thing. Chihiro is taking applications for editor. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE only apply to me if you are cut out for the job. We need someone who can take an episode and change it into proper English. I want you online a lot, and you need to be able to handle MAJOR issues that I’m getting in a few of these scripts. Some knowledge in Japanese is a plus, but not a requirement. Message me and tell me your IRC name, any previous experience you have, your timezone, and at what times I can expect you on.

Yay! It’s done! Sorry about the delay, we just had some encoding issues. Anyways, right back on track now, and 13 should be out shortly, followed by the batch (Probably XviD first with h.264 a few days later. Again, another surprise there)
So, do I want to rant about something? I guess that would be a good idea. How about how stupid some drivers are on the road? Honestly, I’m driving in the middle lane, doing the speed limit, being a good little girl, etc. A driver approaches me from behind. Left lane and right lane are completely clear. So, WHY DO YOU PASS ME ON THE RIGHT! So frustrating. T_T
In other news, next Friday is CLANNAD! So exciting! *Waits for Sprocket Release*

Um… What the heck was this episode?
Probably one of the last episodes we’ll have difficulty estimating release times for. Yeah, it got delayed 12 hours today. Ah well. XD. We’re just trying to get into a different rhythm and find out what we can do and what we cannot. Still released like 2 hours earlier than usual.
Penguin Musume tomorrow. For Sekirei and ZnT, I can’t give any guesses as to when, unfortunately. Hopefully very soon. I PROMISE you that ZnT will be faster next week, but since I am completely uninvolved with Sekirei, no guarentees there.
Also, we’re working on a surprise release. But, you won’t know what it is until we release it. Too bad! XD

Well, I’m not going to hide it anymore. We are working on Zero no Tsukaima. This is kind of an experiment for us in that it’s our first real quality release, when it’s ready. Our goal is to never fall a week behind. But, you can expect high quality releases. After all, we’re jointing with Anime-Share fansubs. They will not allow for bad quality to be released.
And, as you will probably see, we’re almost done with episode 1, which is the hardest in a quality release.
ALL STEPS DONE. ALL CONDITIONS CLEARED. ETA is 10 PM for upload to finish.

First post-Jaka release. Lost a few pounds today trying to see that this worked out, but it did! Yay! 🙂
Also, I have no idea why, but the XviD encode seemed REALLY clear to me.
