2 episodes in 1 day? Are we mad? Yes, we really are.
This is episode THREE. Basically, episode 2 had some REALLY bad organizational issues (AKA, Chihiro was disorganized from numerous events in the past 2 weeks), to the point where fixing those organizational issues is taking longer than releasing an episode with good organization. Ah well. We’ll get 2 out soon enough.
Then, once we get two out, then maybe I can go back to the widescreens releases of… wait. Nevermind.
XviD first since our encoder messed up his first lossless, so releasing h.264 first lost any advantages of speed.

We’re done with ZnT 02, and the series. This morning, SS-Eclipse released episode 01 of Zero no Tsukaima. Now, if we were speeding it, this wouldn’t be an issue. But as a quality sub, the goal is to be the best quality out there, so you can be remembered for the series. Now, the thing about SS-Eclipse is, regardless of the other groups’ quality, they’ll be the ones remembered for it. Heck, look at Kanon. I personally feel that AFK was by far the best group, but SS-Eclipse is remembered.
Simply, we’d be oversubbing it if we continued.
So, we’re going to simply focus more on our other series, all which will now be speed. We MAY pick something else up, but the summer is looking pretty boring from the shows out there. We’re going to look more at the fall season.
Also, to whoever released that Clannad 24 torrent on Mininova with our name: Chihiro will NEVER touch Clannad. Ever. It was one of the things we swore on at the group’s creation. I support Sprocket. I don’t try to sub it myself. :p
Also also, if you were kbed out of Chihiro 2 nights ago, I apologize. That was a staff member (ex-staff member now) who was ragequitting due to my invite of someone else to be staff. I thought he’d be a little more mature about it, but I guess not. Regardless, the situation is remedied.

So, with our first and only completed series so far, we make a batch. Yay!
This is the XviD batch. They are all 1280X720 XviDs with hardsubbed subtitles. We will have the h.264’s soon, but I have to do something with them first. Expect them is a day or two.

So, why is this a release from us? Well, all people who worked on it this time were from Chihiro, since we re-edited/re-TLCed it. So, we’re release the 1v2 as basically Chihiro 1.
I don’t know why it wouldn’t upload like the 20 times I attempted to upload it. Each time was a ping timeout or something. I blame my home’s internet.

So, it was fun. We subbed Geass every week, gaining a couple hours on the next sub group to release. Sure, we were about an hour slower at the end than we were during the 2nd week, but it was still saving fans who don’t care about the quality of the subs, but the anime itself, time.
If the same groups were releasing, we would have not dropped it, but continued to try to find a TLer for Geass to work so we could release at around 11 AM every Sunday. However, this week there was a group called Nightspeed. They were there last week as well, but were largely ignored since the released on 10 minutes before GG. I know GG does karaoke (softsubbed), so watching them means DLing them, extracting subs, deleting kara, and remuxing to have a clean OP/ED. But I know speedsub groups don’t do kara (True ones, that is), so I DLed Nightspeed hoping for that, since they released at the same time we used to.
I was completely shocked. Nightspeed had fine timed the subs, edited them, added in karaoke, and their encode was truly beautiful.
In other words, Chihiro subbing it and releasing at the same time would be oversubbing. After all, oversubbing is releasing the same or worse quality after another group.
To put it simply, Geass is dropped, and Chihiro supports Nightspeed with their releases.
Awee, they introduced Uzume so much better in the manga! She only had undies on in the manga, I swear.
Okay, everyone! Here’s just a little something to update those of you who’re curious about Chihiro’s work on Sekirei. It’s been quite a long, bumpy start for us, but I think things will definitely get going by the time episode three rolls around. Here’s the current status of Sekirei:
