Hayate no Gotoku S2 24 Released!

So, we’re in a race on this series. Hayate and Bakemonogatari aired the same season. Both were left with 3 episodes unsubbed (at least by us for Hayate) at the end of the season. We really delayed subbing Hayate. Shaft really delayed producing the episodes.

So, who will finish first? Chihiro’s Hayate or Shaft’s Bakemonogatari?

This series is EXTREMELY sparkly. As such, encodes require ridiculous amounts of bitrate. Because of this, we are going to do ordered chapters in an attempt to lower the amount needed to download. We also are going to do a 175 MB XviD because a 480p h.264 would’ve been 350 MB, making it pointless as an alternative.

Oh, this is technically called “Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri”, but loli idolmaster works better.

TV versus BD

Hi JC Staff! We want to thank you for you complete incompetence in making a Blu-Ray.
Blu-Rays are 1080p. So why do you upscale them from 720p?

720p only. We’ve gone over the scripts again, used the 2nd karaoke for the 1st OP as the OP karaoke,
redid the ED, and put it onto Blu-Ray.

Oddly, the first DVD is supposed to be the end of April. O.o

K-On! – Blu-ray Batch

To celebrate the airing of K-On season 2, here is the Blu-Ray batch of season 1. Changes include:
1. Re-encode of episodes 1 and 2 to fix things I didn’t like.
2. Script changes to episodes 4, 8, and 14, to fix stupid mistakes
3. Additions of episodes 11, 12, and 13, as well as specials 6 and 7.
4. NCOP/NCED created.

All 720p TV versions are no longer supported and have been removed from the bot.
The bot will temporarily not contain these files due to size constraints.

Angel Beats is Dropped!

We’ve decided to not do Angel Beats. There are multiple reasons for this, which I will outline below.

We picked the show up under the assumption that because it aired on TBS, it would have closed captions.
We were wrong.
The show itself was nothing more than the preview expanded out to 24 minutes.
We are expecting a let down and would rather choose whether to give it a chance or not,
instead of shoving it down our throats.
We aren’t going to be the fastest group on this, and there already is a good group in Static Subs doing it,
so it really was whether we just wanted to do it or not.

Our present lineup is:

Saturday 8-8:30 PM EST : Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri
Sunday 10:00-10:30 AM EST : Working!!
Tuesday 12:30 – 1 PM EST : K-On!!

As this is a negative news post, I’ll post some status updates so everyone is happy! ^^

K-On Blu-Ray Batch : This is completely done. However, there is a power outage where the computer with my files are,
so it cannot be released until the power returns.

Lilpri 01 (We will call this loli idolmaster) : TL, waiting for Easter to end.

Hayate : Episode 24 is in QC, episode 25 is in TLC. This should be done by the end of the month.

Zettai Karen Children – 14-26 v2 TV Batch

So here’s the (extremely) delayed Zettai Karen Children Batch 2.
This is a full on re-do with episodes re-edited, episodes 14-22 re-encoded to the right frame rate, karaoke/translations added for songs, and the style used in the other episodes applied. So the pink font of death is officially and finally dead.

We’re also release the XviD batch in full, because no further adjustments are going to made there.
We are going to still be making a few adjustments for episodes 27-51, such as a re-encode of 27, 29, and 40,
as well as script fixes for h.264. But these are going to be much lighter and easier.

You want the 27-39 batch? Well, just think about how much you asked about batch 2 (a ton).
And think about how much faster it got out because of your inquiries (delayed 5 months).
